The Bordello 2020

I’m an NYC based performance artist specializing in burlesque, comedy, and clown. Best known for my comedic burlesque routines that play around with gender norms and questions the definition of ‘sexy’, I have performed at venues throughout the city, including House of Yes, UCB East, Magnet Theater, Nurse Betties, Parkside Lounge, DROM, among others. I particularly enjoy satire and challenging stereotypes regarding women in theatre.

A member of Pretty Kitties Burlesque in Rochester, NY since September 2018, CeCe can be found performing monthly in troupe shows at 140 Alex Bar & Grill, in addition to guest appearances in burlesque and drag shows around Rochester. In between shaking it onstage in group numbers and showcasing her own energetic, silly solo acts, CeCe helps to keep things moving behind the scenes as troupe production manager. 

Combining a love of dance, music, and costuming along with a healthy dose of exhibitionism, CeCe lights up the room with her dimpled smile every time she steps on stage.

Darby DeVour [pronounced ‘duh-VOW-ur,’ like the word meaning “to eat”] is a queer, non-binary, polyamorous burlesquer with grand plans to seduce you with their rhinestone collection. Hailing from the Motor City as a proud student of KittyDelicious Queer Burlesque in Ypsilanti, Michigan, they were inspired to take the stage to celebrate their sexy, fat, middle-aged, disabled, hormonally transitioning body. Jeannie got her start with the Boston Academy of Burlesque Education and is currently a T.I.T. (teacher-in-training) with the academy.  She can be seen monthly in Boston's only monthly bad-ass burlesque show/punk rock dance party, "Punk Rockin' and Pastie Poppin'".

Ava Fox is a Boston-based performer. 

Sheila Shortcake made her debut on the burlesque stage in 2015, when she produced the first ever burlesque show in Ridgway, CO. She brings years of experience in dance and original choreography to her colorful and playful performances. In each show she displaying her dancer's range of grace, athleticism and cheeky humor. Whether embodying the persona of a sassy, sultry ice cream cone or a classic femme fatale, Sheila never fails to bring a smile to her audience. She is also a published pinup model. “The Jersey Devil herself”, Dorian Helena emerged from the gloomy pine barrens of NJ in 2015 to join the local burlesque scene and from there has been on a whirlwind burlesque adventure. She's performed in in a variety of shows from conventions and burlesque festivals to your local dive and backyard BBQ.  She is one of the producers of Black Hole Burlesque, which brings weird and wonderful shows to an active fan base in the Atlantic City area.

Electrix got her start as an apprentice with the Boston BeauTease, and later became a member of the troupe. She is now a member of Lady Luck Burlesque up north in beautiful New Hampshire. Electrix comes off as shy and sweet, but truly lights up when performing on stage and will leave you wanting more. 

The most recognizable boy-lesque dancer in Richmond, VA, Dante the Inferno was a founding member of the nerd-lesque troupe Those Freaking Weirdos and performs regularly with Blacklist Burlesque.  Drawing on his lifelong love of all things geek, Dante imbues his routines with his natural sense of humor. He has been a twice crowned Prince of Great Southern Exposure.

Performed at numerous popular venues in Boston such as the City Winery, Oberon and Midway Cafe. Ingride Denise brings many talents and styles incorporating both Neo and Classic Burlesque along with self-training in Hip Hop, Haitian Folklore and Contemporary dance.
